UPDATE 2/04/26: I was able to finally return to my job today after being out for 2 weeks due to all the health issues that arose from exposure during the ice storm here with no power and single digit temperatures with little heat for almost 3 days strait. I did try to play guitar again a little before work but the pain was pretty bad still.
Hoping to be able to play again in the next week. Nothing To It But To Do It!!
UPDATE 1/21/26: I do not talk about the time in my life in music before my wife first got sick unless asked about it.
Figured I would share that now as I was recently asked. I recently reconnected with Paul Hornsby who told me to drive down to Macon, GA. which is my hometown and he would take me out to lunch and we could talk music. I am doing that in a couple weeks.
I used to work with Paul and learned a lot from him as he recorded and produced "Can't You See" for Marshall Tucker
and for many more artist including Charlie Daniels. Since I have been out of music for a while, I am reconnecting with many people in music from my past that have done extremely well for themselves in music in my absence. The best way forward in music now that I am back is to reconnect with my past.
